Carr Shellfish Cork

In August 2005 CERTUSS UK Ltd were invited to tender for a project at Carr Shellfish Cork. Tender details were to supply, install and commission a Steam Generator and Package Plant Module that would serve a Jacketed cooking vessel for a fish process. The load demand for the facility was circa 1850kg/hr. Operating hours would be 10 hours x 7 days. After evaluation of the requirements, CERTUSS UK offered a tender.

The equipment

  • 1 x 2000kg/h CERTUSS Light Oil Fired Generator
  • 1 x CERTUSS Package Plant Module with all necessary ancillary equipment pre installed
  • Water treatment package and program
  • Delivery to site
  • Installation
  • Commissioning

In October 2005 CERTUSS received an order for the supply and installation of the equipment with full commissioning of the plant taking place February 2006. To date CERTUSS still carry out annual servicing of the plant.

This site is also available for any potential CERTUSS UK customers to visit and see our equipment in a working environment, where they can speak to an independent Engineer for an unbiased opinion.
