Hofbräuhaus St. Louis
This beer garden restaurant in Belleville is the eighth franchise location of US subsidiary Hofbräuhaus of America LLC and the largest Hofbräuhaus in North America thus far. The beer hall borrows design features such as the high vaulted ceilings, authentic interior decoration, beverages and food from the original in Bavaria. Steam from CERTUSS is required for on-site beer production 8 hours a day, 5 days a week.
All year long, the Hofbräuhaus offers classic Bavarian beers on tap in accordance with the Bavarian Beer Purity Law, such as Hofbräu Original, Hofbräu Münchner Weisse and Hofbräu Dunkel. They also serve seasonal beers like Hofbräu Maibock and the popular Original Oktoberfestbier.
At the Belleville location, a steam boiler from CERTUSS is part of a brand new brewing installation. The offer was submitted by the first CERTUSS sales and service partner in the US, the Boilersource company headquartered in Arlington Heights, Illinois. The entire brewing installation was constructed by the Vienna-based O.Salm & Co GmbH company. As CERTUSS and SALM had already cooperated on a number of successful projects in Europe, choosing CERTUSS as the right steam supplier only made sense.
The state-of-the-art system for Belleville was developed and manufactured exclusively in Europe by SALM and CERTUSS, two leading experts in the brewing industry.
